Alegra is located in the village of Ein Karem in the southwest outskirts of Jerusalem, in a house that has been converted into an intimate and charming boutique hotel. Seven one-of-a-kind suites are surrounded by a lush and fragrant Mediterranean orchard. Guests can enjoy a uniquely attentive and personal service, with suites designed with the most pampering and luxurious amenities. From the rooftop, the Alegra Hotel offers captivating views of Ein Kerem and the Judean Mountains.
The suites, designed by Lavan Architects, have been designed to fit the building’s history, as well as to match the cultural context of Ein Kerem and Jerusalem. Refined materials have been used in keeping and respecting the original building. The suites are furnished and equipped with the utmost comfort in mind, inspired by Eastern motifs while maintaining a contemporary finish. Breakfast is served at the restaurant situated in the central area of the hotel. Every evening, Alegra’s main Chef, Yaron Winkler, gathers his guests together for an intimate meal, staying true to the flavors of the Judean Mountains, offering seasonal dishes based on local produce, herbs and spices from Alegra’s very own orchard and hand-selected foods from the surrounding markets. A large wine selection of regional Israeli wines is also offered.
