The center of Aix-en-Provence is the Cours Mirabeau, a lively square lined with double rows of plane-trees, cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. Although some visitors choose to stay on the Cours Mirabeau, others find it too noisy and prefer a hotel on one of the side streets.
