Floroom: Florence Bed and Breakfast offers a stylish cozy alternative to hotels

One of my complaints about Florence is the relative paucity of chic, stylish B&Bs. You’ve got small hotels, big hotels or frumpy B&Bs with worn-out furniture and flowery curtains. Fortunately, the tide is turning.

This week, I found out about Floroom, a B&B owned by Giacomo Fantini and Francesca Pecci. Floroom is located on the top floor of an old building in the center of Florence. It is right by the Piazza della Passera, a small square behind the Old Bridge and the Pitti Palace. I love the modern, sophisticated bedrooms all in white. And hey have free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
