Hotel Aurelio: intimate luxury boutique hotel in Lech, Austria

If you have plans to ski in Lech, Austria, a chic resort that has been popular with European royals for many decades, make sure you check out the Hotel Aurelio, a boutique hotel that caters to people who want a less traditional, more contemporary design. The hotel made it to the “hot list” of Conde Nast Traveller Magazine in 2010. It won Luxist’s Reader’s Choice award for best ski hotel.

The Aurelio has only 14 bedrooms and 5 suites, making it a very intimate place to stay. Each room and suite is individually designed and decorated with Asian wood furniture and warm neutral fabrics. All rooms and suites have gorgeous views onto the mountains. The hotel’s Day Spa offers exclusive treatments, a gym complete with the latest equipment and a personal coach, several indoor pools including an activity pool, an extensive thermal suite and a tranquil meditation centre where you can relax in front of an open fire.
