Hotel Éclat is a 100-room luxury boutique hotel in Beijing’s Parkview Green in Fangcaodi, designed specially with the business traveler in mind. It features 26 luxurious rooms and suites featuring Jacuzzis in bathrooms; 20 indulgent suites boast their own private outdoor pool. Modern, wonderfully spacious and filled with light, this boutique hotel has a wonderful Japanese restaurant, a fitness centre and a stunning contemporary art collection.
This is a 5-star hotel, so expect high prices for the suites (starting at around $290). However, you will enjoy private butler service, free WiFi and the large and private rooms. Standard room features also include an enormous 3D LCD TV with Blu-Ray, a second LCD TV in the bathroom, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and a Panasonic massage chair. All the right designer names are attached to the amenities: Miller Harris bath products, Illy capsule coffee, a Philippe Starck chair at the work desk, even Riedel glassware for the well-stocked in-room bar. Because the hotel is located inside a commercial complex, there are plenty of dining and shopping options indoors so you don’t have to expose your lungs to the Beijing smog.
