La Purificadora Boutique Hotel in Puebla, Mexico

La Purificadora Boutique Hotel is the new incarnation of a late 19th-century factory long used to purify water for the production of ice. The old building was renovated by the renowned Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta. The hotel is located in the historic center of Puebla, a colonial UNESCO world heritage town on the road between Mexico City and Oaxaca overlooking Volcán Popocatépetl which at hight of 5426m towers over the city.

La Purificadora Restaurant offers contemporary honest Mexican cuisine. The shared tables were designed by architect Ricardo Legorreta and were produced with old wood that was founded in the former ice factory. The terrace is the perfect spot to appreciate a sunset with the Church of San Francisco in the background and a view of the surrounding gardens. It is the ideal place to have a drink or simply relax by the pool, sauna or jacuzzi.  The hotel also has a Gym and Spa and all rooms have free WiFi.
