Honolulu has some of the best restaurants in the Pacific, thanks to the city’s multicultural mix (Filipinos, Japanese, Chinese, Hawaiians, among others). Although visitors prefer to stay in resorts on other islands, I’d rather be in the city where you have the best of both: city life and the beach. Honolulu has its share of tourist traps – dreadful eateries that cater to visitors who don’t seem to have taste buds – but you don’t need to worry about that with our list of favorites. I also enjoy prefer Honolulu’s exciting city mix to the remoteness of other islands like Maui. I haven’t been to any of the restaurants you list here, but will be sure to check them out next time we’re there.
