If you are traveling to Seoul on business, consider staying at the reasonably priced Tea Tree Hotel in the Gangnam district, an area filled with cafes, restaurants, wine bars and prestigious boutiques. It is only ten minutes from downtown Seoul. The hotel has only 38 rooms, making it an ideal place for travelers who want more comfort and intimacy. In addition, all rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi. The business centre is open 24 hours a day and has laptops to lend to guests as well as printers. The new Subway Line 3 (Shinsa) station is also only a 6-minute walk from the hotel and allows you to conveniently travel anywhere locally as desired. The hotel opened in July 2009 so all facilities are new and up to the most current standards. There’s no reason why this hotel should not appeal to people traveling to Seoul for pleasure (even though it does bill itself as a “business hotel”) since it has all of the modern conveniences and provides a quiet and relaxing place at the end of the day.
The room categories range from Standard to Grand Deluxe; one special guestroom called the Tea Tree Spa has a large terrace and includes a jacuzzi to allows guests to enjoy their own personal outdoor spa. Room rates are very reasonable, starting at around $80 for a double room.
