The Jervois Hong Kong is located on a quiet street in Sheung Wan, one of the island’s most desirable districts, surrounded by many of the city’s finest shops and restaurants. This ultra-modern all apartment-suites hotel stands out with its elegant architecture and gleaming glass walls, and is an excellent offering for travelers who seek larger rooms for a longer-term stay.
Christian Liaigre, the French designer, has created stylish interiors featuring fine wood and marble finishes, leather bed frames, Simmons mattresses and floor-to-ceiling windows. All rooms also include kitchens and high end amenities, including Toshiba 40″ full HD LCD television, DVD with iPhone connector, free WiFi connection, Frette bed linens and other amenities standard in this class.
Liaigre’s involvement means special attention is paid to warm materials and textures, and while it lacks the ostentatious presentation of the typical five-star business hotel, the Jervois’s audience clearly prefers a more discreet, low-key, residential vibe. While the hotel doesn’t offer any dining options, the surrounding streets are packed with local flavors including the Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant Tim’s Kitchen on Bonham Strand.
