Looking for a luxurious ski chalet that accommodates up to 18 adults and up to 6 children, and has experienced staff to serve your needs during your ski holiday? The Lodge is Sir Richard Branson’s exclusive mountain retreat in Verbier, Switzerland and it is part of Virgin Limited Edition’s swanky holiday locales (one of which is Necker Island). The main ski lift is only 250 metres (or a 1 minute van ride) from the chalet and experienced skiers can ski directly into the Lodge.
In addition to the privacy and beautiful interiors, you get breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, served by the chalet’s chef and dining staff. The dishes are a mix of Swiss and international cuisine and dining can be as formal or informal as you wish, from full four-course gourmet meals to picnics or lighter options with the children. The wine cellar offers the perfect opportunity to ‘nose and swirl’ around the extensive selection of wines and champagne.
The Lodge has an indoor pool, steam room, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis to help relax your aching muscles after skiing. There is also a gym and if you come in the spring or summer months, you can play croquet on the lawn. The Lodge also comes with its own private ice rink for aspiring Olympic skaters.
