Via Condotti in Rome
If you are wondering where to shop in Rome for men’s clothes, shoes and accessories, read this guide I have put together for people who are in Rome for a few days and don’t have too much time in the city. Shopping for men’s clothes in Rome is ridiculously easy. Italy has the best clothes for men and the best selection with unmatched service and inventory. I have rarely faced a situation in Italy where my size was not available or items were out of stock. Once the salesperson looks at you, he immediately figures out your size and what will fit your body shape.
Although Milan may have an even better selection than Rome, I prefer shopping in the Eternal City, as I can combine it with excellent meals and sightseeing (visiting all those atmospheric churches, basilicas and Roman ruins). Note that sales are usually held in January and July, and non-EU residents can receive a refund of most of their VAT at the airport.
Here are some of my favourite stores in Rome, all of which are in the via Condotti area by the Spanish Steps.
